For all the persons who wonder why someone would hurt themselves, this poem should shed some light on the emotions of someone who considers suicide.  It is important to take care of our and our children’s mental health. Help, don’t judge!

You feel alone, even if there are persons around you.

You want to remain by yourself as you do not want to be a burden to anyone else.

Your thoughts are unclear, you feel confused. You sometimes cry for no reason at all and you wonder how to cope with the feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, unworthiness. Is your life worth anything? What’s the purpose of living?

They say they understand, but do they? How can they? They don’t know the problems you have. They are pretenders, they just want to know your business so they can judge, criticize or condemn you when you are gone.

Thoughts of how to do it cross your mind. You think.  Are you brave enough to try?

You think about the anguish it will cause your family and then you try to rationalize by saying – If you are alive you may just cause on going pain to the ones you love.

So might as well you end it right here, right now, no delay.  At least you won’t be a pain much longer. Only for the rest of your useless life which will soon end.

And what about “ it” being the greatest sin?  One in which God wont forgive.  Well, you say to yourself, none knows if that’s true. If God didn’t want you with him on the other side you wouldn’t feel the way you do.

You could have been molested or raped, told you were useless felt unworthy or helpless, confused or depressed. You could have lost your job or fame or you could be feeling emotions you cannot explain.

You wonder why there is just so much pain. You cry, you smoke, you drink, you think you consider…. The thoughts in the mind of one who thinks of

Will you be the next victim??

Philippians 4 – vs 8-9 The Message (MSG)

8-9 Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.

Romans 12:2  The Message (MSG)

Place Your Life Before God

12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Proverb 3 verse 5 The Message (MSG)

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all.  Run to God! Run from evil!

Proverbs 28  The Message (MSG)

19 Work your garden—you’ll end up with plenty of food;
play and party—you’ll end up with an empty plate.

20 Committed and persistent work pays off;
get-rich-quick schemes are rip-offs.

26 If you think you know it all, you’re a fool for sure;
real survivors learn wisdom from others.

Jeremiah 33 Verse 33

2-3 “This is God’s Message, the God who made earth, made it liveable and lasting, known everywhere as God: ‘Call to me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvellous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.’
